Wow…this wedding is so gorgeous and we are so excited to share it! Margo and Matt were married at Mellwood Art Center in Louisville in the most elegant and classy way possible! This couple is so sweet and friendly and such a blast to work with!
Weddings at the Bluegrass Wedding Barn are always fun and Amanda and John’s wedding was no exception. The last of our summer weddings, Amanda and John planned a stunningly gorgeous wedding with a color palette of burgundy, mauve and blush.
Last Friday we shot our final rescheduled wedding of 2021! Samantha and Jose’s big celebration was postponed last year but they did get married in an intimate backyard wedding, which you can view here. We are so happy for them that they were able to celebrate their first anniversary by renewing their vows in front of all of their friends and family.
This wedding is seriously a stunner and we are SO excited to share it with you! Paige and Bill are a wonderful couple that wanted to celebrate their marriage in the most fun and classy way possible! What a gorgeous day with a beautiful couple!

People think it’s only the bride and her bridesmaids that take a long time preparing for the ceremony at a wedding because of the intricate details that are needed on their side of things. Like the hair and makeup need to be perfect while also finding the perfect jewelry and even nail color for the wedding dress and the motif. However, the groom and his groomsmen should not be exempted from the hustle and bustle.
Jenna and Wes are one of our sweetest couples ever and we are so happy that they were finally able to celebrate their marriage BIG! They, unfortunately, had to reschedule multiple times due to Covid restrictions, but this past weekend, their big day happened!
Keeneland just proves over and over what a great photo location it is! Erin and Josh’s engagement session happened to fall on an evening when there was an event in the paddock area of Keeneland. No big deal! There are tons of other places on Keeneland’s grounds for shooting.
This is the first sunflower field engagement session we’ve done but we hope it’s not the last! Katie and Taylor chose to do their engagement session at the Evans Orchard sunflower field and wow…it’s so gorgeous!
This wedding was so stunning and we are so excited to share the sneak peeks with you on our blog! Kelsey and Chase were one of our couples that had to put their wedding off for a whole year due to Covid so it felt like a long time coming. It was worth the wait!
Our second June wedding was at the Bluegrass Wedding Barn, a stunning venue out in Perryville, KY. Kristen and Joseph are a great couple that now live in Alabama so this was kind of a destination wedding for them.
Classic and elegant are two words that immediately come to mind when thinking about Morgan and Jordan’s wedding day. This stunning Keeneland wedding had a color palette of black and white which is just timeless. Morgan was truly a beautiful bride and this couple was amazing to work with.
It’s fun to do something different sometimes and it’s not often that we get to shoot engagement sessions in the woods with a waterfall! Rebecca and Kevin are a sweet couple that wanted an outdoor, nature inspired session and I think we were successful!
Haley and Matt’s engagement session began at his parent’s home in Lexington. They wanted a few shots with their dogs, Lexi and Lucy, and the gorgeous tree lined street.
Wedding and portrait season has been in full swing! That coupled with the fact that we took a week to relax with Keith’s family in the Orlando area, and it’s been a very busy week! I’m so far behind in posting this gorgeous wedding but let me tell you, it’s worth the wait!
When 2 pilots that live in Kansas have their destination wedding in Central Kentucky, you know it’s gonna be cool. Yes, the weather was cool, but it was much more than that! Kristin and Jacob are a beautiful couple and they worked with their planner, Angela, to prepare a stunning wedding.
Yin and Eric are another of our couples that had to postpone their big celebration because of Covid. Saturday was finally their wedding day and it was worth the wait! Their wedding took place at the most beautiful venue, Mustard Seed Hill in Millersburg, KY on a gorgeous sunny day.
Missy and Dwayne’s wedding day was one of the sweetest we’ve had the pleasure of shooting. This couple was supposed to have their wedding last year when Covid decided to mess up their plans, not once but twice. They got married in 2020 anyway but decided to hold off on the big celebration until this year.
Amanda and John’s engagement session almost got rained out but we’re so glad it didn’t! They have a busy schedule and live in Louisville and Cincinnati so it was pretty important that we make it happen and thankfully, the rain held off until the very end!
Whitney and Erik’s wedding was one that got postponed because of Covid and we were so happy that it finally worked out for them to have the wedding of their dreams! We have known Erik for some time from the wedding industry so it was a special treat to get to work with him and his bride.
