Spring Engagement Session at Ashland, the Henry Clay Estate | Katy and Jonathan

Engagement sessions are such a wonderful opportunity for us to work with our wedding clients. They are included in our wedding packages as a complimentary session for many reasons. It is a great chance to get to know each other which makes the wedding day so nice. It’s not a necessity but it is always fun to arrive to a wedding and already have a relationship with the bride and groom. There are other reasons we gift this session to our brides and grooms but we’ll talk about those another day!

It was so much fun to get to know Jonathan and Katy. They are so sweet and easy to work with…super natural in front of the camera! Their session began with their adorable dog at the Henry Clay Estate. The grounds of the estate are so springy and beautiful and their day was chilly but the light was so gorgeous, you would never know! We can’t wait to shoot their December wedding this year! (Crossing our fingers for snow! ;) )
