Sep 29 A Wedding at Centenary United Methodist Church and The Lexington Club | Carrie & Mike

Carrie & Mike got married on Saturday and we loved being a small part of their day! This sweet couple originally planned to get married back in May…but COVID…so they planned a new date. They just happened to wait until about 3 weeks ago to finalize the new date! Luckily, Carrie is super chill AND Carrie is also best friends with Stuart, a floral designer and business owner who is very familiar with weddings. He helped her plan everything fast and they ended up with an absolutely perfect wedding day.

The First Look at the UK Arboretum

After the bride got ready at the new Residence Inn Marriott at City Center, we all headed to the UK Arboretum for the first look. It was a sweet, intimate moment for Carrie and Mike back in a small grove that was completely private. Following their moment, we did their portraits and to our delight, their pup, Wilson, came in a tux to join in the fun!

A Wedding at Centenary United Methodist

The wedding ceremony took place at Centenary United Methodist in Lexington. They had some killer music and it was a lovely socially distanced ceremony. It was a joyful and sweet ceremony!

Wedding Reception at The Lexington Club

The Lexington Club was a new venue for us. This is a private club and because Carrie and Mike had family connections there, they were able to book it. What a beautiful place this was! It reminded us a lot of Spindletop Hall in the decor and style of builidng. The wedding reception was in blush and navy with lots of lush florals. They had a wonderful sit down dinner and enjoyed mingling with their guests. It was a special day and so beautiful. Thank you, Carrie and Mike, for having us capture your perfect day!
